What is Yoruba?:
Essentially this is a religion which started in Africa and now exist in a few places in various forms. Within the religion exists what are known as Orishas, an Orisha is a spirit/diety which represents a manifestation of god. According to Wikipedia the religion and its variants may have up to 100 million followers worldwide. Within the religion there is a god known as Olorun at the top, below him are a large list of Orishas in which Ayao is a minor diety. Learn more here. In the next few weeks I plan on making a few concepts for African gods.

Ayao is considered by the Yoruba as only a minor deity. She lives both in the forest among the wildlife and in the eye of the storm. As the orisha of win she lives in the shadow of her sister oya, the thundering storm. Regardless of this she is herself a fierce warrior and a crafty tactician. With her affinity to nature and wildlife she fights to maintain order and push out the chaos so that the eye of the storm may again become calmed.

Passive: [The Serpent]
Ayao has a pet serpent which stays wrapped around her in-game. Whilst attached to her the serpent will attack and poison anyone who attacks Ayao within a melee range, this effect cannot occur more than once per short duration. The serpent also passed Ayao arrows from her quiver resulting in higher attack speed.

1: [Constrict]
Ayao fires the serpent with her bow in a straight line doing damage to all targets along the way. If the serpent hits an enemy god it will latch onto them slowing and crippling them for a duration. The serpent will continuously damage the target and randomly attack and poison any enemy god within melee range. This ability is not usable if the snake is not on Ayao, after usage the snake must unlatch itself and return to Ayao manually.
